Opportunity places a large role in success. I am just back from a trip to my native place. I had to travel there to a small village deep inside. On the way to it I have seen many villages which are still in the process of development. The fruits of development have not reached fully there.

While I was waiting for my bus back to Hyderabad, I did talk to two young boys. They are 15 to 16 years old. They have been doing labor work from last 3 years, roaming from district to district based on seasons to find work.

One boy has to leave education to earn for this family. Another, did not join school at all. I asked, how long will you continue to do this kind of work? they say “Don’t know, may be until death”.

One of the main point I notice here is, they don’t like what they are doing. They also want to settle, and do some good job etc. But unfortunately the society have failed to provide the opportunity for them to do so. I suggested them that they can still learn how to read and write. They can get better work and no need to roam around the state for work if they learn to read and write. But not sure what my 15min interaction will do compared to almost 15 years of life they have seen.

I felt sorry for not able to provide opportunity for them.  They happened to be in bus stand because that is the place where they sleep every day when they are outside their homes.

As an individual I feel most happy when I change(+ve) lives of others through my influence. So my aim is to influence as many people as possible. I hope to stop my running for money very soon, and start working on what I really want.
